Class I
Manufacturer

Companies that produce a full line of materials used in lightning protection systems may join as Manufacturers.
Benefits:
- Seat on Board of Directors

- Employees listed on website listed with certification level
Requirements:
- Be a Listed Manufacturer
- Dues payment
Class II
LPI Certified Contractor
$1,500/yr
When an employee of a Contractor member becomes certified as an LPI Master Installer, the company automatically moves from the Contractor category to our LPI Certified Contractor category. Or, when your company joins the LPI, if you have an employee who is already a Master Installer or a Master Installer Designer, you will be placed in the LPI Certified Contractor category.

- One Seat on Board of Directors per 20 LPI Certified Contractors
- 50% discount on LPI-IP Certifications
- Employees listed on website listed with certification level
Requirements:
- One Master Installer
- Dues payment
- Three inspected systems per year
Class III
Contractor
$1,000/yr
Companies that design and install lightning protection systems may apply for Contractor membership. If you are a company applying for membership and do not currently employ an LPI Master Installer or Master Installer Designer, you will be applying for membership in this category.

- Entry into association
- Listed on member directory
Requirements:
- Dues payment
- Three inspected systems per year
Class IV
Professional Division
$150/yr
If you are interested in lightning safety and do not work for an installation company (i.e. engineer, architect, scientist, government agency employee, insurance representative, educator), you may apply for membership in our Professional Division.
Benefits:
- Entry into association
- Listed on member directory
- Eligible to take Designer Inspector Test Series
- Annual Conference Member Discount

Supplier
Companies who provide materials to Manufacturers, Contractors and/or LPI Certified Contractors join our Suppliers Division. Due to the limited number of applicants in the Supplier Category, please contact the LPI office for information on how to apply.
