Critical Facilities
Coming Soon
We rely on critical facilities on a daily basis, as well as during a natural disaster.
Critical facilities, as defined by the government/FEMA, can include fire stations,
police stations, hospitals, emergency operation centers... and more.
It's Critical.
One lightning strike to any one of these buildings could render them non-operational.
"It's Critical" to keep our critical facilities operational to support the needs of our
communities. Lightning poses a severe threat to individuals and communities
who are not prepared for the consequences of a lightning strike.
Fire Station: Fort Myers, Florida
The Lightning Protection Institute and members are committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of those in our communities. LPI members, Lightning Protection Systems, Inc. and Thompson Lightning Protection, took this dedication to the next level by donating the design, the components and the installation to the new fire station in Fort Myers, Florida.
